Marketing & Communications Coordinator
The marketing and communications coordinator is responsible for undertaking marketing, advertising, and PR activities across a number of events. This involves integrated marketing strategies including website maintenance and optimisation, social media marketing (including WeChat), as well as email marketing. Successful candidates for this role will also work closely with our PR and media partners (both Chinese and mainstream media), ticketing and venue partners to support the execution of marketing campaigns from a digital and offline perspective as well as ensuring that project marketing objectives are met according to schedule.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has:
3+ years’ experience working in a Marketing Coordinator role
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline (essential)
Prior experience in integrated marketing and advertising campaigns
Prior experience in SEO including backlinking and keywords (essential). Knowledge and expertise in Google AdWords preferred
Prior experience researching and creating marketing content for websites, EDM and social media accounts (in both English and Chinese)
Experience editing and building pages for websites as required
Proven experience in EDM using Mail Chimp (essential)
Experience assisting with maintaining marketing budgets and liaising with external contractors and vendors
Tech-savvy with great attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management skills, enjoys working collaboratively with others
Proactive and eager to share innovative ideas with the team
Able to work outside normal business hours during peak periods to meet project deadlines
Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (essential)
Migration Consultant
Migration Consultants are responsible for providing the client with advice and guidance on how to best obtain the necessary documentation required for international migration, and also facilitate the client in completing this process as smoothly as possible. Migration Consultants must work within strict timelines and communicate with the client and any relevant authorities consistently via email or telephone.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Service, ensuring that the process runs smoothly.
Interview all clients and handle applications face to face or by post to ensure that the client is a suitable applicant.
Oversee the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensure that these are received within any time frames set by the Government.
Ensure that all of the information provided by the client is accurate and correct. Prepare and thoroughly check through all legal documents.
Prepare quotes for any fees incurred and any additional information required by the clients, colleagues, or relevant authorities.
Maintain excellent working relationships between all clients and colleagues.
Assist the client in obtaining a visa and any other required documentation.
Take full responsibility for all immigration issues and all relevant operations throughout the application process. Remain up to date with any changes to legislation.
Research competitive services/products by identifying and evaluating service/product characteristics, market shares, pricing, and advertising. Maintain research databases.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a immigration consultant or experience in a similar role
Proven ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Registered migration agents preferred
Ability to leverage a network of partnerships. Excellent communication and networking skills
Familiarity with current marketing principles, strategies and tools
Familiar with social media tools and communication strategies
Ability to multi-task and achieve results under pressure
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, including demonstrated written proficiency
