Tea Expo — 2019 Chinese Cultural Festival

The Australia Chinese Cultural Festival is a fun-filled event allowing local Australian communities to experience traditional Chinese culture in all its diversity. The Chinese Tea Expo has been held in Sydney each year since 2011. This year’s tea expo included the largest number of Chinese tea companies to feature in any exhibition in Australia.

Attendees spent the whole day tasting an enticing array of teas from over one hundred different stalls while experiencing a range of traditional tea ceremonies, performances, and workshops that helped them to appreciate tea in new and refined ways. In addition to tea tasting, a wide range of teaware, handicrafts, Chinese paintings and calligraphy were also displayed at the event, allowing visitors to experience the finest aspects of traditional Chinese culture.
