Chinese Culture Talk — Chinese and Western String Music: A Tour of Chinese Music Culture

A group of bright young graduates from the China Conservatory of Music joined forces with members of the Chinese Music Ensemble from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music to perform a delightful instrumental showcase in a fascinating evening that combined musical sensibilities from the East and West as part of the ”Chinese Culture Talk” event held on Friday, April 28, 2017,

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music was especially pleased to welcome Beijing Symphony Orchestra violinist and conductor Liu Zheng to the stage alongside composer Zhu Lin from the China Conservatory of Music who hosted this event in collaboration with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney. Lecture Topic
